Review descriptions for pictures (REVISED GUIDELINES!) (CrowdFlower Official Job)

This job is a joke.. Several test questions say 'it should say blah de blah' as in the answer was wrong and when I have marked it as a no it says I should've said yes LOL. Also, bad spelling/punctuation is being allowed through and descriptions that aren't even close to what they are about. Got 50% and not happy as I was expelled.

Yes I'm doing that one atm, I wonder what you have to do to get a bonus?

Quiet day so far for surveys, but I said that yesterday and it ended up a great day survey wise

Is it one where you write 5 x words for the picture? Or the sentence descriptions? If so, your bonus is based upon whether you get marked yes or no by the people who review your answers.

8 words min, and 16 words max for every picture, there are 2 pictures in each thread, but it only pays 1 cent

Whats the amount people are getting from casino tasks whats a good day or bad day ?

the most i've made is over 3 dollars but i average around 2.50 not much i know but these are the only regular tasks i can do due to being level 0.

I only ever see two or three of these so you're doing well I'm level 2, there seems to be no rhyme or reason to them.

I used to take 3-5 dollars a day on casinos but I can't get into them really at the moment.

I have messaged Crowdflower about a problem with test questions and they've basically said that this is what they want from now on:

What we’re looking for is the test question, links to websites if given in the question, the correction page, and why you believe your answer is better than the one given. Feel free to include a screenshot and references the instructions as supporting documentation.


Basically if you're going to complain about unfair test questions now you'll need to record down every little bit of detail about the question, the answer, the problem and why you believe it is wrong..

Now I was actually messaging them because I marked something as 'no' (it was wrong) and they agreed in their reply but then said it should've been marked as yes!!! So how can I prove that I am right? When they agreed with me and then contradicted themselves!!!!

I have messaged back to reopen ticket and asked them if they want all this information now does that mean there is no point using the comments and upvote system to explain our answers?

Will wait and see what generic response I receive.

I'm not sure what level task it was, but I did get a review the keywords task briefly yesterday, so I assume there should be a good batch of those available at some point maybe today with so many write keywords tasks available.

I've not had any approved as of yet on that task, or on the write descriptions to images task which was for the most part easy, though it was kind of tricky when the photo was of some random, bizarre looking plant that I didn't know what the hell it was, my description was something rubbish like 'exotic, spiky plant with a blue sky background':rotfl:

Yet another one of these user review tasks seems to be broken and I've been expelled because of their errors. Its the 'Find the date of the most recent Facebook review for these Canadian businesses.' one, probably best avoided.
