I can't believe that the people who choose the dates for mothers day have picked the day when the clocks go forward and they have to get up early to make their husbands/partners breakfasts. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Mothering Sunday is always the fourth Sunday of Lent so it moves like Easter does.
It originates from a time when it was thought to be important for people to visit their nearest main church or cathedral during lent (The mother church) rather than their nearest parish church. It became a time for family reunions and servants were often given the day off to visit their family.Alice came to a fork in the road. "Which road do I take?" she asked. Mother's Day is always 3 weeks before Easter, and can fall at the earliest on 1 March (in years when Easter is 22 March) and at the latest on 4 April (when Easter Day is April 25).
BST begins on the last Sunday of March. If this coincided with Easter, BST used to begin a week earlier but this is no longer the case.
Mother's Day thus coincides with the start of BST when Easter falls in the range 15-21 April. This last happened in 2006 and will happen in 2017, 2019 and 2022.0 -
