Credit cards - GONE!!!

I have made my last payment to Barclaycard and now owe NO money on credit cards!!!
On 29.04.11 I had £18,440 of debt on 2 credit cards and a loan. I'm now down to just under £2,000 on my loan and without overpayments it will end in November this year.
I get married in 19 days and I'm so excited not to be bringing any credit card debt to the marriage!
So excited to see balance £0.00 when for so long I didn't think it was possible to pay off so I might as well keep spending!lol Then I met my now fianc!, was made redundant and realised I needed to sort my life out. I couldn't have done it without the help of everyone on this forum (I might not post much but I read often!) and my fianc!! Thanks everyone!!

It sounds like this truly could not have come at a better time. I always remind people to learn from their hardship and take that into consideration with their next big expenses. Congratulations again on getting your cards paid off and now it is time to enjoy yourself and your special day!0

Thank you everyone! I'm over the moon to have got to where I have and will never get into debt again! Went out for my hen do last night and had a brilliant night out. Really feel like a huge weight has been lifted and I can properly enjoy the run up to the wedding. Can't wait to get married and start saving for our future together!0
