Employed applicants must have been in continuous permanent employment for the last 12 months. A break of three months between positions is acceptable however no more than one three month break in the last 12 months is acceptable.
Your husband does not therefore mean this criteria.
It could be that the L&C adviser has already spoken to CBS and cleared this with them.

Thanks amnblog. Unfortunately I have been calling and leaving messages for my broker since Tuesday and they are not ringing me back. Oh how I wish we had not used London and Country!0

Phone is working perfectly as I've had lots of other calls. And anyway if they for some reason couldn't get through they could have sent an email, a message on their tracking system, or a text.0
