VT and others - printer ink is the bugbear of my life. I've just bought a Canon printer because it's
    i) wirlesss so the house can use it without being near it
ii) duplex so I can do double-sided and save paper.
iii) it can scan and copy unlike my current one.

I need one that will work on a powermac G4 and a Windows 7 machine. For future reference do any of you know of a good cheap printer that takes cheap ink?

I can't help really Zag. I managed to find an air printer for around £40 in about October last year. I can print from iPad to it but it's hit and miss. Sometimes it works like a dream, other times it fails miserably. The other day I tried to print an APG and it wasn't having it.......26 hours later DS2 came down with 8 identical APGs that I'd already printed on the other printer and spent :o
I do generally find the HP ones reliable though and on offer a lot and with extra CC points on ink a lot. Not sure if the can duplex though? Must investigate that
