With these current accounts, do you just have a carousel of direct debits from one to the other to satisfy the criteria for money going into them? MT

    Tesco Bank is your answer:

No, they are just the pages where the donations are made. You choose the charity :)

Right well a cancer charity would be a good one then.

    Bit of organisation; that's all.

I only use one of those debit cards on a day-to-day basis; most of my spending is done with a cashback credit card.

The other debit cards can be used to create free Graze accounts where you get the 1st box for free plus £1 cashback via TCB/Quidco. Several debit cards also come in handy when you have the Amazon/ASDA/M&S Bespoke £10 giftcard offers. ;)

I have a spreadsheet of all my bank accounts/savings/investments.

If you have some savings knocking about then the gains are definitely worth it. As I said before, I was earning approx. 1%. Now I earn:

    - 6% with First Direct (regular saver; via its 1st account)
    - 5% with TSB Plus (x 2 accounts)
    - 5% with Nationwide
    - 4% with Lloyds Club account (also gives access to a 4% regular saver).
    - 4% with Clydesdale bank (x 2 accounts)
    - 3% with Santander 123 (x 2 accounts)
    - £5/month with Halifax's reward current account

Also remember, a couple of these accounts had joining incentives (for example, FD had £125 added to your account, Halifax had £100, Lloyds give you 6 free Vue cinema tickets). Santander also gives you cashback on your council tax bill, water bill, phone/internet etc.

Whilst it seems like many hours of work (and it is; especially when opening these accounts), the real benefit comes now; with minimal effort. I probably put in about 15 minutes of work every 2 weeks to check all the accounts are 'running smoothly'.

    :)

First Direct is outstanding......I have their offset mortgage- best move I ever made in my financial life.

Oh dear lol I'm sure your skins not that bad. I use different ones £1 shop and the Est!e Lauder samples. Have they given you some in a small bottle, they last ages. I begrudge paying ridiculous prices when you don't know if they will work or not. I'm waiting for the sun to tan my face then I won't be wearing any.

This is just it, if we get a good enough summer when everyones faces are red hot and sweaty, no make up stays put it all slides off so then its only worth using SPF tinted moisturiser and sun bloke and no point in full make up.

I really annoys me that both these bottles have sealed tops so you it makes it difficult to get inside to scrape the last drops out without a hacksaw :)
