Thank you guys for the sweepstake

I had the winner today £92 win on £2.50 each way very happy days!

Last year I managed to pick the winner too but had a nightmare placing the bets as paddy power kept crashing on me i only got the kids bets on before the race started I would have won over £200 I was kicking myself.
Lesson learned This year I put the bets on early

Anyway I am going to try and drag myself out in the garden to do some work- 72 tiny plants arrived from Thompson and Morgan yesterday plus 2 dozen silvery things I already had, very tedious job of potting everything up, no idea where I am going to put anything and no labels so the colour scheme is going to be in the lalp of the gods.

My other crisis is just as bad.

Ive been using Olay total effects touch of max Factor foundation medium spf 15 - they were very cheap in Home Bargains once so I got several and this is the last one. Also Max Factor ageless elixir 2 in 1 foundation serum natural 50 spf 15 (won from supersavyme).

Both have lasted me months and months and both now have run out at the same time

So Ive got some tinted moisturisers for normal usage when for at home days eg Osirir Avise BB cream a;; in one SPF 15 from poundland but the coverage is not good.
Also a few samples of Estee lauder Double wear.

So ive got to try and find a replacement of some sort with good coverage, SPF, anti ageing but not too cloying but still give good flawless coverage.
In theory I could just bite the bullet and get estee lauder double wear and it would last me months - but I've never bought any make up so expensive - my skin is so decrepit now I really cant warrant going out bare faced or just with a tinted moisturiser.

so in the meantime I have to go and trawl through my make up stash to see exactly what foundation I do have but we are away in a few weeks and my collection of odd samples and sachets probably wont last that long :(

    Any suggestions please?

I swear by Clinique as I have very sensitive skin. I use tinted moisturiser in summer and cc cream and foundation in the winter. My dd prefers No 7 which do a range of foundations and bb creams for all age types. Bare in mind your skin might go a bit darker in the summer.
Find some time in the week and visit a few counters and maybe have a makeover. Clinique at debenhams will do this with no need to buy there and then and give you some samples to try at home.
I bought a few of the Nivea tinted moisturisers when glitching last year and these are very good for the price. I am able to wear for a short while but have to remove as soon as home. My clinique I can wear all day with no irritation.

Find the perfect one for you then I am sure we can put our heads together to work out the cheapest way to buy it. Boots did have the vouchers last month for no 7 but not sure if this has continued.

Hiya bubbs. Good to hear from you. :) How are you?

Been busy with work; on call shifts (both day and night).

Also bought a house now.

And I finally decided to sort my finances out. I was sick and tired of earning 1% on my savings (which I've worked really hard for); noticed that there are loads of current accounts paying 3% to 5% interest so I've been moving my savings across.

I now have 10 current accounts, 10 cheque books and 10 debit cards. :rotfl:

Haven't touched my Cash ISAs though. Also invested in S&S ISAs.

So yeah...that's what I've been doing. Haven't been glitch hunting though.

    :(

    Hey Karlie,

I lurk a lot because of time constraints, but just needed to say it's good to see you posting. I hope all is well with you, and well done on sorting out the savings!

On a side note, does anyone here work in IT and have any interview tips for me? I'm going for my dream job, and I just want to be super prepared! *bites nails*
