    Claire...do the school send you a uniform list ...that lists summer and winter uniform?

    if the tie is listed as part of the winter uniform and the polo listed as part of the summer uniform then they dont get worn together...

    or maybe youre able to "produce" a uniform list to that effect...that might help clarity...

    i saw a friend answer a similar query once from her son that way!

    Despite my earlier protestations, I am on the bus going home instead of walking.

    I have never had anything like that happen to me before, and I sincerely hope that I never get it again :(

    On a sardine packed bus is not the way to find out what happens to you when you get claustrophobic :o

    I am in bed. Honest!......if your DS is anything like mine, he'll be bouncing off the walls because it's holiday time. I don't think it's excitement I think it's his way if coping with a change in routine?

    Current dilemma here is, he's allowed to wear a polo shirt from after Easter up until summer term. Does he believe me that you don't wear a tie with a polo shirt? NO! my word isn't good enough. He actually said to me tonight ' Do you know this as fact, or are you just surmising' :eek::rotfl:
    Blinking hard work they are! I'm going to be forced to get in official writing now that a tie isn't needed with a polo shirt.....I'm not official enough :o

    this really made me laugh:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    i think its standard with all boys mums do not know what they are talking about :p my ds3 is always checking everything i say

    today for history lesson ds3 went to watch the butler he said it was really good but sad and some of the girls cried:(
    they discussed what they had learnt after about slavery and peoples rights and the teacher asked if any one knows of other films they could watch next week on the subject.. ds3 said he had watched a film about slavery and how bad people were treated recently,
    the teacher had not heard of the film so was going to pick it up to rent tonight, to see if it is suitable,
    thin k he will get a shock the film was Django:o:o
