Well if you had the remote press record and see what happens if you still have not found it look for a red button on the dvd player or even one with the special code "Record" or maybe "R" and then let us know :D

Thank you to the posters who responded on what wine to buy someone who is retiring and especially to Vtwist for saying I could have one of hers but it's a bit late. That what I love about the Elite - I think we are all very generous with our bargains. Sometimes I think I give away too much stuff and I wonder if I actually save any money(lol).

This is what I have done for my House of Frazer voucher in the telegraph tomorrow.

    1. Bought 2 3V cards in tesco using £5 cspend with 150 points
    2. Bought waitrose vouchers at highstreetvouchers with 3v cards
    3. Buy milk £1 2 litres (with my waitrose card) and 3 lots of yummy waitrose jam (3 for 2) and get telegraph all for £5. Do this twice Have my free coffee
    4. Have a day out on train to maidstone with redspotted voucher
    5. Have my lunch out courtesy of tesco vouchers in Bella Italia.
    6. Spend my 2 x £5 vouchers in HOF if I can find anything that cheap in there!

Frozen cod in my store - crooksfoot, Ashford.

Thanks to Deedee and SFSB for their glitchy find on pop. Didn't participate as absolutely love pop but it is not good for me as I would keep drinking it! Notice you can buy weatherspoon vouchers with 3v - mabe good for juju!

Thank you for thinking of me Mattyr, I might have a look at that. I don't know what is the matter with me, I seem to have lost my mojo....hopefully I will find it next week and sort myself out....maybe an elite meet will cheer me up.

Whoever came up with the mental test link this morning has a lot to answer for it has caused a big row :D

OH has come back with 22 - he has never been 22. He has been acting like a 2 year old toddler or a 92 year old pensioner but he has never been 22.

Tongue rolling......one of only three body parts that is affected by direct genetics. If you can't roll your tongue, neither can any of your parents. If you can, then either one or both of your parents can. You can't learn it. Genetically you can either do it or you can't.

Ear lobes are also genetically inherited from your parents. If the are attached, either one or both of your parents ear lobes are attached. Likewise for detached ear lobes. So if both parents have attached ear lobes, you will have too.

The other is blood groups. You will inherit a blood group from one or both of your parents.

That concludes FCs biology lesson for this week :D

I'm fascinated by stuff like this :o

Funnily enough my family were discussing the other day, we discovered we can all roll our tongues, do the Vulcan thing but only 3 of us could fake burp :rotfl:
