On a more serious note what about references from joint friends, especially if they are in specific professions ie. doctor, teacher etc.

Thank you all, we've been struggling to think of things - all finances and bills in DD's name except rent books, and they've never had a holiday together.
But they had one night in a hotel recently thats got both names on, and an invite to a friends wedding. And screenshots of bank statements showing payments between them.
She'll be devastated if she doesnt get a visa.....
(I'll be over the moon but I cant tell her that! )
