Off to London for 2 days working so been running around all morning. Mum still in hospital so will visit on the way. I thought DD was decided about settling down with bf but is now undecided about moving in with him. He lives in a lovely flat where she lived with him for 2 years ( been back home almost 18 months) and she said she would only move in if he bought a house in the town where we live. So they have looked at a couple and are seeing one tonight. I just said you need to make up your mind and tell him one way or another. He is a bit clingy but it is probably because he knows she has messed him around. I just worry she may do something silly like an overdose again.
I want to help her but don't know how to. I even feel disloyal writing this but I was on my own from 2008 to 2012 and really enjoyed, got control of my bills and had the house how I wanted it. Now she has a puppy that wees everywhere and does not help by being economical with utilities. I also know I sound like a stuck record as this keeps happening.
On the plus side I have an interview for a credit control job locally next week and am starting my diet consultancy in June. I hate having to worry when I am going away!!

Just meant to say thank you to whoever mentioned the Lidl 9p chocs were still out there, went to a shop that had none last week and got 22 of one that OH likes. The silly thing is the price was there but on the wrong shelf!

That was me! So glad you found some :)

Strangely enough I've just this minute eaten 4 1/2 p's worth for lunch!

Just been to Ts and there were lots of Rtc 50% off washing powders ie 50 wash surf and some Ariel's still not cheap enough for me at the minute may be worth keeping an eye on, before a stumbled on you guys 12 months ago I would have been over the moon at this deal but I have been well and truly corrupted by you all ( in a good way)

Blimey you are lucky. If I lived that close I think hubby would have divorced me by now, as he'd never see me:rotfl:
We are lucky to be in the country but still only 10 mins drive to town.
Blimey, you're lucky! We live on a farm and after 10 minutes drive we are still on the farm! The shops are 30 minutes away. But we do love living in the countryside.....
Until we get snowed in. Or until the postman refuses to come down to us. Are they allowed to do that by the way? I thought if a letter/parcel was correctly addressed and stamped it had to be delivered to you. The latest reason for dumping a parcel at the top gate, (on a public footpath) is "there were bulls in the field, health &safety..". There are no bulls, just friendly cows, sheep & chickens! It is over 10 minutes down to us though, and this seems like the real reason for nor wanting to bother! Sorry, rant over..
I am not young enough to know everything.

Rose have a hug from me, you have so much to contend with at the moment, try and not think too much about "what ifs", although I am the world's worst for that so know how hard it can be. Take care of yourself and do the best to enjoy couple of days away from it all even though you are working it will give you something else to focus on hun. xx

Maybe it's meant to be while DS1 is home. ;) Look at it as a paid break. :D

Which 80s Cartoon Series Character Are You?

You got: “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe”

You’re charismatic, creative, and you also ooze self-confidence. There’s nothing you can’t achieve through hard work and determination, which is why your friends look up to you.

:rotfl: I think skeletor would've been more appropriate.

    Afternoon all.
