    seeing Purpledonkeys sig has made me work out how much I've made from £1....not quite as good but from 23p it's £20.

    The problem is that most of the time its chocolate I find so I eat it...although I did give a few boxes away and was kindly given a box of wine in return which we are currently making our way through.
    I find it quite hard to sell the things...I guess I'm too soft and end up giving more generous presents than perhaps I ought to....my 2 lovely god daughters will be benefitting from 2 of the whoopie pie makers for easter....along with a small egg each!

    Lol, with you there.. given I'm considering retiring (a tad early:rotfl:)I'm thinking I need
    a) not to be so generous!
    b) Buy all you can when there's a glitch, or dirt cheap, and sell on, at a profit!!
    c) Don't eat the chocolate!!

    Decided 16 was enough as shower gels seem pretty regular in one flavour or another :D

    But thats part of the problem with me...I feel quite bad when I end up in a swap situation of giving something that really did cost pennies and get a box of expensive wine in comparison given back...
    I really do try and make the point of saying it was not expensive but for some reason I dont think that my friends and family are remotely understanding of 1p items...when I say something was very cheap I really do mean it!
    frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    Hiya everybody

    Just been to asda for the hoola hoops and jellys thanks to op
    will post results when in.

    So funny was overcharged on the jelly so went to CS, OMG 3 members of staff later all the jelly came off the shelves, the shop was nearly evacuated over the jelly multibuy not getting picked up, anyway got my £2 gift card.

    Definitely won't be able to go back an do that again in my local.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    I got jelly too but didn't go to CS as it was the same woman I argued with a couple of days ago. I'll go back either later today or tomorrow when it's someone different :p Waste of time going to her anyway as I never got a gift card from her when the crisp multibuy didn't come off!
