Sorry VT I was joking when I said I would end up with short back and sides. :o DD3 is doing a "long grad" ladies cut but did the layers too short on her block today. ;)

It's a hair and make up course she is doing so it's limited hairdressing and next year will be even more limited once they are on to the full theatrical effects of makeup. It's a shame they picked that hair cut for DD but I guess as most of them are going on to do Level 3 hairdressing makes sense. DD3 is fantastic at dressing hair, cutting is not her thing.

It's very laid back and she has been passing assessments from the syllabus as she goes but this was different today a skills test before interview. Still another chance after Easter for the skills test but the tutor did not think it would be a problem.

I am going to be a model after Easter.

I bet your dd3 has been enjoying Hair on bbc3. In my day we didnt have hair extensions amazing what they can do theatrically but a few of them struggle with the actual cutting.

    I do ;) out of a bottle. :o

I inherited from my dad my first few stray grey hairs just before the age of 21 but did not start dying my hair until my mid 30s. I always thought I would grow grey gracefully but I feel far too young.

My mum was sooo lucky she did colour her hair but still had some of her natural colour when the roots came through at 80, now why could I not have inherited her genes for that. ;)

My mums hairs been grey for as long as I can remember, I swear its going black these last few years! (She's never died her hair that I know of)
I don't even know if its possible for colour to come back

    .

I was considering mid range, DH just enquired with a tyre company around the corner from where we live, and he quoted £98 for 2 rear tyres, fitted. DH said the bloke said they were not cheapy ones, but when I asked what make they were he said he didn't ask (typical bloke lol).[/QUOTE]

When I needed to get mine done i did lots of price comparisons. Made sure it included fitting, vat and disposal of old tyres. Then when I knew the price I was happy to pay I rang my local garage who I trust. I explained the situation and that I would prefer to get the tyres from them but was not financially in a position to pay more than I needed to.

My local independent garage asked for an hour to research prices and then rang me back. They agreed to do the tyres at the same price. He said he would rather be given the opportunity to do this than for me to have just gone elsewhere.

So he might not Make as much profit but in his mind an opportunity to make some and keep a customer happy was better than making no profit. So might be worth considering.

Sada do tyres btw ( these were the cheapest for me) . I am happy I went with my local garage though. Keeps the independents in business. HTH

Talking of hair colour, my Mom's hair is still black. Very little grey. Well impressed.

I've decided to go blonde as of next week. :D

Hope everyone's had a good day. By jove, the sun was out in full force today. Scorchio. Scorchio. Scorchio.
