(It does strike a slight chord with me though: it can be, let me be bluntly honest and truthful again, a little irksome sometimes to have to do these niceties (in RL) - pointless social things that don't achieve anything - although yea, they do make other people happy which I suppose is a good enough reason - but yes my slightly autistic nature does mean I ponder issues such as this one on a regular basis - I guess I just often wonder "why?" in respect of everything:eek:.)

A nice kindly PM might have done, instead of me shouting it over across the thread though:doh:.:rotfl:
Don't worry about it

Lastly - I'll move on (about time too, Savvy:p), hopefully to the M list (hopefully?!?:() - I notice this: "...(except for M, which are currently taken from instore visits but expected to be taken online in the future)" - just wondering who is "expecting" this?!?:)

By the way, neither of my two stores had the Mum and Me reduced-to-£1 gift pack. I'd got my first one online and went in clutching the MOC. A lovely passing SA asked if she could help when she saw me trying to work out if it was worth trying to use it on anything else and I asked if they had any of the gift packs. She said they didn't but lots of people had been ordering them. So I asked if I could use my MOC if I ordered it from the desk in store. She was great and did this for me, though the coupon didn't scan saying I had not spent enough. First they thought it was because it was for the same amount as the gift pack so I said I was happy to order two. That didn't work so she put the coupon as a non scan and I've two more to come at the weekend. Will try doing the same thing again then...0

Question: I'm very close to paying off a credit card I've been in debt on for quite some time and I've just had an email telling me my credit limit will be increasing. I really don't need it to so am going to keep it as it is and decline the increase. This won't affect any rating in any way will it? Thank you please wonderful elite. Just don't see the point of having more credit available when I don't even need/want what I currently haveDebt free 6th December 2014

You'll be fine
Your score is worked out partly based on what percentage of your available credit you are using
If you accept the increase and don't add debt to your card then your percentage of credit in use will drop (good thing)
If you decline the increase and pay off some of the debt then your percentage of credit in use will drop (another good thing)
If you accept the increase and pay off some debt then your percentage will drop further (best option in the eyes of your credit score)
What would hurt your score would be incurring new debt or reducing your credit limitApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
