Does anyone know if B&Q gift cards can be used online at diy.com? Or could multiple 3v cards be used? I'm buying the materials for a new patio, cost about £300. As after 9 months out of work OH has a job!!

    TIA x

the only thing valentines that I scanned that was full price was the pink photo box with chocolates in - still scanning at £5

I scanned some finest clotted cream and strawberry fudge as it suspiciously didn't have a SEL. Think it scanned £2.50.

I can't remember who found these, but they are an A v T shop, I have been adding one or two as fillers and we tried them last night, excellent, not fizzy cider, but very nice, will be building up a wee stock for the summer methinks

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Thats exactly what I have done this year. Took out the full maintenance loan, but only half repayable due to my income. Also had a £1000 bursary from the uni (again, not repayable) and free council tax for the year as I am a single adult. This is despite the fact I work, but luckily just fall under the £25k bracket as I am part time.

Have paid first 2 student loan installments off my mortgage, bursary and council tax savings have been used to rip out and redo my en-suite which was falling apart and now looks amazing.

Am now contemplating what to do with last installment of loan due in May - pay it off morgage as planned, or blow it on a holiday next year! :rotfl:

Oh I forgot about the council tax bit. Thanks LS. I'll have to pay it all back but vs the rate on my mortgage and its not secured against my house its madness not too.

    what you studying ??

Congratulations, I bet you are all really pleased that OH has found work.

In relation to the patio, I am not sure but I have sent my OH into B&Q with a handful of gift cards they can use as many as you want, including part used ones, on a single transaction.

If you have a chance try to blag a builders card, often extra discounts come off as well.
