Gor, what have I started?:rotfl:
"This afternoon" OR "this Saturday afternoon" would be okay, as today is Saturday.0 -

Sorry, I'm finding the conversations about days of the week and dayparts boring at the moment:o:o, so I'm moving onto another topic.0

lol, we know that
(but in fairness, you can slice limes, and lemons (sliced) and they play a double purpose then, as an ice slice, and as a slice

Darn those A r'backs - they had none of the £1 Skittles Fruit left, so I picked up the Skittles Confused (essentially the same thing I think, even if colours may vary - actually it's probably got more variety than the Original Fruit version but that's getting pedantic and anyway...) at £1.40. I was confused as to whether the Confused was on 70p in T (hang on, I'm supposed to be pretending to be a muggle:rotfl:).
I didn't pick up any 50p biscuits as I'd bought a pack separately earlier in the day with a womble:rotfl:.
Anyway, I got home and 3 hours later... turned out none of the comparable items were 10% cheaper:rotfl::rotfl:.
Those 10p flumps though ... tried forever (well, not literally or I'd still be there:D) to scan the pack, it just wouldn't, so I had to enter the BC in manually:rotfl::rotfl:. Pack was a pesky thing getting ripped open too - try as I might, I dislike it when that happens. I was pulling and tugging and pulling and tugging... eventually my flump treat was out and scoffed!
Shouldn't have done the shopping really - I gave in to temptation:(:(:o. It, I suppose, got some money off a GC and put some of it back onto an APG.
Oh I know I shouldn't but I wouldn't be me if I didn't
but this has made me nearly pee with laughter :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I can't help it
:o and I know you won't be offended. I'm honestly in fits of giggles

davemorton wrote: »What are you doing NEXT Saturday afternoon, now would than mean this afternoon, or in a weeks time? xxx
Fwiw, I might have to ask the speaker to clarify what they meant on that one:o. Surely, this one, this Saturday, now, is this afternoon. Making "next" Saturday afternoon a week and at least 11 hours and 16 minutes away. I mean a week plus such time, just to clarify.
Perhaps I'm taking the word "this" (as italicised) too literally there:rotfl::D. We'll "all in our own bubble" aren't we, as to our interpretations of things and what words and things mean to us?0 -
