When, at "Mortgage Promise" or at full application?

I wouldn't give you tuppence for the Promise, so I'll go for all three at full app, so don't trust the Promise if you have anything visible, especially at previous addresses and more than three years ago...

hoping all 3 reports go up after my partner is registered on the electoral roll on the 1st may and by that time all our debt will show as settled, its already settled but not updated on the reports yet, only a couple of late payments with gas and water, gas it around 18 months ago, just showing 1 month late, water was 3 months ago when he moved into my address and didnt get his post from his last address to pay the remaining water bill which was settled as soon as we knew about it, my partner has had banked with halifax all his life and has had 2 loans from them in the past 6 years, all settled without missed payments, i think both were paid off early, the last one defo was, it was settled in february (2 years early)
we want to go with halifax as they lend on ex LA and unusual construction (ie concrete, which is most of the house around here)
we are looking at a 95% mortgage,
we already have a MIP with aldermore but these refuse to lend on any ex LA houses which prices us out of any house around here so are looking at other lenders with a view to apply when my partner is added to the electoral roll

Our searches where all soft searches throughout the mortgage application.

I had a late payment to a credit card (£10.00) recorded in October, mortgage app was end of December, also a couple of other late payments over two years ago.

Concrete house also, laing easiform end terrace 3 bed.

Help to by mortgage guarantee at bang on 95%

    Ours went through fine !

Never banked with the Halifax though.

ours were all soft searches via experian
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

It's changing. We are being told about stuff that only shows on particular versions of the credit file.

If they were only checking one, they would not have picked these up.

It may not be in every case, but definitely some cases are being triple-checked, perhaps in preparation for MMR processes.
