OP, I like your technospeak, it's very much on a par with mine.

I was lucky enough to win a Samsung galaxy note 8 tablet recently, however I'm finding it difficult to get to grips with, especially for comping. I still much prefer using my laptop with a proper keyboard for that sort of thing. The touch type tablet keyboard just doesn't do it for me, and I can both type and open tabs quicker and easier on the laptop.
However if you have a John Lewis anywhere near you, you can go in and have a play on the different devices and see what you think.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • *Head Explodes* - It's all so complicated!

Maybe a book of stamps and a new bic biro would be more my level...

I enter on my ipad on chrome and I've found that I don't have to miss out on too many comps, there are plenty I can enter

I have a kindle fire... worst tablet ever... awful.. avoid where possible!
It even has issues downloading my OU course materials.

Great for Twitter though, terrible and laggy for MSE.
    Good luck x

I've persisted with it a little, maybe I need more practice then :)
