Changing Loan term with RBS

Hello, I applied for a loan today with RBS after checking the checker to see if I'd be eligible so I did and said I had a good chance so I applied for a 4k loan over 3 years.

But now after looking at this I think it makes more sense for me to pay it off over 2 years is there anyway for me to change this? I applied online and was told the money should be in my account within 1 working day! Also out of curiosity say I wanted to change the amount of the loan to 2k could this be possible?

Thanks in advance.

Mmm. After applying for a loan and receiving notification that it has been successful is always the best time to look at things, IMO.

I know I should have made sure the term suited me etc but I didn't realise loans can be accepted instantly like credit cards and on reflection 2 years probably better suits my needs.

    What bris said.

Failing that can you just over-pay on the loan?

Or if you can't overpay, put the rest into a savings account and close it a year early.
