Rota Change - can't do it :(

Hi all! I started my job last summer and have happily been working on a two week rolling rota, four days one week and three days the next - set days. I had a call today from the boss saying I was being moved to the opposite rota - I can't do it. I work opposite my partner and as the hours are unsociable we cannot find childcare so it looks like I will have to seek a job elsewhere.
I am really annoyed as there are people there with a lot less experience or time served as me, with no responsibilities who would happily move. We all do the same job so there is no reason why I should have been picked, unless its because I have been providing holiday cover for two months but I don't give the work out, so I can't really be penalised for that.
But it seems I am and it will cost me my job and they will have to re-advertise and go through all that jazz again.
Any suggestions, advice or opinions folks?

Speak to one of your colleagues to see if they would be willing to switch instead.

Speak to your boss and let them know you can't do it.

Ask your partner to see if he can switch shifts.

My partner can't switch as he is the only person with his qualifications and experience at his workplace and he struggled really hard to get his hours what they are now - even to the point of handing in his notice and negotiating these hours as a reason to be swayed.
I have said to the boss I cant do it and got told that its in my terms and conditions.
I will see my fellow workers at the weekend and ask around but even though they may be willing the boss may have made his mind up.
Feeling a bit screwed over at the minute to be honest. I am a good employee and respected by my fellow workers, we have social events between us and I got plenty of Christmas cards. . . . :'(
