Hi All,
I'm looking for some advice I have recently started recieveing letters from this DCA again I have never acknowledge this debt due to the way the whole case was handled.
(background info:- the account was for an old Debenhams staff discount card with GE Capital)
GE Capital took me to court in sept 2008 and successfully got a CCJ against me, whilst at the same time they also sold this debt to AK who have not really communicated with me over the 6 years other than around 5 letters with a further 2 this week alone.
to start with GE and AK were reporting on me for the same account now GE has fallen off my account due to the six year lapse now these clowns are trying to put the pressure on to get me to pay however the thing that I'm trying to get answered is what can they actually do under the following circumstances?
AK lodged default 21 Aug 2008 (drops off Aug 2014)
GE gained CCJ 30 Sept 2008 (drops off sep 2014)
I have spoke to them before in 2010 by the phone regarding a letter of intention which seemed to be dropped.
Should I send them a CCA now or wait to see if they try to obtain another CCJ?
