So annoying. Was in Boots today and they have reduced loads of items including the Champneys Spa Best of Spa Gift. They were £10.50 but are reduced to £2.63 and are on the 3 for 2 offer so you get three sets for £5.26 you also get a free gift bag with the purchase.
This is a nationwide clearance and the items are still in their normal aisle they just have a clearance tag.
Loads of other Champneys things reduced by 75% also and again work on 3 for 2
Loads of items in the Natural Collection also reduced for example the shower creams are 50p so you get 3 for £1
Also on the same deal is Soap & Glory Sit Tight Reduced to £4.13 from £16.50 so you get 3 for £8.26
Burt's Bees Essential Body Kit £3 from £12 so you get 3 for £6
Boots Cocoa Butter selection box which contains 3 full size items was £10 now is £2.50 so 3 sets for £5.00
I carefully wrote out a list of all the items mentioned in this thread and was delighted when I found many on the shelves in my local Boots...
But they were all still full price.
BB Ess kit still £12 for example !
Natural shower creams, Champneys hand wash and scrubs etc, ALL still full price - and yes I did take them and got them scanned, I didn't just rely on the sels.0 -

It is annoying I agree with you, the difference in offers across stores varies. The stuff reduced is by the looks of it items they are phasing out and being replaced with new packaging and/or design. Its possible your store hasn't done this yet (for whatever reason) so its always worth checking back if you are in the area, they might delay reducing it for a week or so:money::rotfl::T0 -
These must be getting restocked as I got a good haul yesterday from a store which is normally devoid of bargains. 3 x Champneys Best of Spa @ £2.63 (&3for2) and an armful of 50p shower gels. The rock solid body butters in the 3 Almond Extracts Travel sets (£1.75) I bought were a bit of a disappointment though

I've been in B**ts today and they've informed me that they have a 6 item policy. No-one is allowed to buy more than 6 of the same item. What's that about?0

That's the official policy. No more than 6 of any 1 item, especially if it is discounted or on sale.
However, I find it quite funny that they allow folk to empty shelves of 1 item when it's the Xmas sale and the 70% sale. Does the rule not apply then?0 -

I've never been told that before :eek:Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

I rang customer services at head office and asked them to confirm their policy, 6 items so that people don't bulk buy and re-sell stuff. I asked why did they allow people to swipe armfuls of the same item on 70% sale day? They didn't have an answer to that. I said they should put signs up if that is their policy and stick to it. Don't be inconsistent, it annoys me more that they don't stick to their policy. They don't complain when I spend hundreds of pounds in their stores - the staff are clearly jealous because they cannot take advantage of the clearance items like I can. They have told me on several occasions when I have a basketful of bargains "I wish we could do this".
Superdrug are completely different - their staff watch out for me going in and point out what they have reduced that day as they know I love a bargain and regularly buy their clearance stuff. To them it is better if I clear a shelf of items - it means they get their space back for new items. The manager has said on more than one occasion that they love it when the clearance stuff sells as it is usually stuff that has been a poor seller and they just want rid.0
