CF30 is not a qualification. It is the regulatory control function held by that person. All advisers (apart from trainee) hold CF30 permissions.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). i have today rec'd the following advice from my IFA who is trying to release some cash from my GMP type s32 pension "i have been passed t[FONT="]he relevant legislation from our specialist consultants regarding transferring Section 32s with GMPs. According to this the transfer value must be at least equal to the cash equivalent of the member’s accrued GMP benefits, which it isn’t & is is why Phoenix Life & others are saying that you cannot do it." .
