Strange emails

Options
Over the last couple days I have been receiving strange emails in my comping email account.

They are picture mms messages from different networks going by the subject title, but the person they are sent to isn't me!

I haven't opened them but just wondered if anyone else is getting them too?

  • Yes, I've had one too, supposedly from Orange network. I didn't open it either, just deleted straight away.

Ah glad it's not just me then, was worried it might be some kind of distorted win that I wasn't opening! I have had them from Orange, O2 and Tmobile so far.

Me too. Am sure it's a phishing thing. I've just deleted them.

  • I've had a few of those to my comping email address too.

I've also had a spam email, along the lines of "a Nigerian bank has an inheritance waiting for you, just give us your bank details" sort of thing. But unusually it is addressed to me using my (fairly unusual) surname , so I'm guessing I've entered a dodgy comp somewhere.

I've also been getting a few of these every day for the past week.
Never any mention of my email address in the email source though always something similar.

Not to panic anyone but do a virus check with these, my security picks them up that they have Trojans etc and they have been blocked but still recommends a virus check.
