ladies im after some advice on facial moisturisers please
im currently using johnson & johnson's clean& clear oil free dual action moisturiser. i've been using the same product throughout my later teenage years up to now. its normally about £3.50 for a 100ml tube, which seems to last me a fair while.
i *seem* to have left my spotty teenage skin behind. apart from the odd blackhead, im fortunate not to get that many spots, so feel the time has come to move on a more grown up facial moisturiser.
however, as im only 21, i dont quite qualify for anti wrinkle cream just yet
... yet the market for these things seem to fall into three camps:
*spotty teenage skin
*miracle cures for older, wrinklier ladies
* uber expensive general use stuff
can anyone recommend a reasonably priced (less than £10, the closer to £5 the better - skint student here  ) facial moisturiser for day use? i have dry to normal skin, with a slightly oily t zone. i would prefer perfume free, although that is not essential.
thanks muchly

Olay has a good range and a price to suit all budgets.
Ive tried other creams but always come back to this as it just seems to suit my skin. A lot of them also have spf 15 which is always a good thing.Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -
I have always been one for v expensive moisturisers, and tended to change everytime I ran out (or sometimes earlier).
However, I now use Olay Complete Care Multi Radiance Cream (about £7, but you can often get it cheaper when on offer). I am now on my second tube of it, and it is fantastic!
Edit: Just noticed KM's post - looks like we agree! xGone ... or have I?0 -

its funny, because i'd always associated olay with the more mature
market. never really entertained the idea of nivea either.
will build up a list, and then see if i can obtain some free samples
im good at begging letters

I do like Nivea, but my eyes stream if it goes anywhere near them! Garnier Synergie Vitamin Radiance is fairly inexpensive and very light. Olay lotion is fine on younger skins and the more intensive creams are great for overnight use - especially if you exfoliate or have a cleansing routine that is a bit drying."Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0

I have slightly oily patches on my skin still (at 46 I still get 'teenage spots' occasionally! :rotfl: :rotfl: ), but the rest of my skin is normal with occasional dry patches.
I have recently started using Biore 'Shine Control mosituriser', which is about £5 from Boots etc. I find this is great on my combination skin, gives a really nice matt finish which lasts for ages and is a good base for makeup. It smells nice and fresh too, not at all heavy.
This is the best moisturiser I have found for my skin, and believe me I have tried pretty much all of them.....0 -
I've tried about 5 moisturisers in the last 9 months as I'm pregnant and found that my skin has changed. My skin is now quite dry but have found that the Nivea Aqua. http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1017156&classificationid=1018413 is fab.0

Go to Lush! they're really helpful, always give you a sample if you ask, and their stuff isnt tested on animals and smells, well, lush!!!You lied to me Edward. There IS a Swansea. And other places.....
*I have done reading too*

I have tried all of them in my time it seems, but nivea soft is the one I use time and again. Bang on the money too about 2.00 for 100ml:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
