ITV Competitions

Options
This is regarding how they contact winners:

May I ask winners which numbers were used to contact them? Was it any random number or do they always call on a landline number (Given you used one)

Thanks! :)

Numbers they might call from in the future do not have to be the same as ones that have been used in the past and they could call from withheld numbers as well, without answering you won't know. (It makes some sense for them to use number withheld for the time critical ones so people cannot call them back just to find out they have lost out on a major prize.)
I have ITV and Channel 4 winner contact numbers but the same as e-mail addresses I would not post them on a forum where they might be harvested for spam purposes - although some show on a google search anyway.

A few numbers get a mention in this thread

    Hey,

Thanks very much for your reply. When I was talking about phone numbers I meant for the winners.

Do they contact winners mainly on their landline numbers (If used to enter the competition) or do they choose any random number you used (Landline or mobile)

:o They will call on whatever number is on the winning entry, nothing connects entries from different numbers to each other.

Haha, thank you for confirming! :D

How silly of me to never have thought of that before lol, there is a reason for each number counting as one entry :o

If you enter 3 (or whatever the limit for that comp) times on a mobile, and 3 times on a landline, you have a better chance than many of us who only enter with one number. But if you only enter with one number, mobile may be a better option, in case you are out when they call and it's a time critical one. Equally, if you're home a lot and mobile reception in the house is poor, landline would be a better option.

As mjm said, though, they won't connect the entries (though they could if they wanted as think you can use same email address).
