HELP - ideas for vest needed to go with dress

Hi all

I have just purchased this dress

http://www.whitestuff.com/ring-ring-wrap-dress--prod408352_dk_ink/

but due to it being very low cut on me I will need a vest top underneath.

I am trying to find a mustard one to go with the mustard colour that is sporadically on the dress, to no avail.

Therefore any ideas of other colours that will go will be gratefully received.

I had planned on wearing a tan/camel wedge to tie in with the mustard but do have a light purple wedge (sounds nicer than it does) as thought maybe a light purple vest could go??

I am useless with clothes so any help appreciated.

Not sure what the colour the dress is supposed to be.

If it were black then I would say black, or even a lime green, red, or white but you have mustard yellow on the dress too so - I would say black or white and beef it up with accessories rather than look for a mustard colour top.

Why not consider a bright colour, maybe red or fuschia pink? What's your colouring, would you wear a bright shade of pink?

Hi and thank you for reply.

Dress is navy but the telephones on it are a very light grey interspersed with mustard ones.

I was just thinking along the same lines as you and to go for a navy vest top and find a vibrant necklace to go with it.

So any ideas on suitable necklaces also gratefully received!!

I would do fuschia pink over red.

Do you think it would be too 'much' with navy, grey and mustard??? I am willing to give anything a go!

On ShopStyle they show several mustard vests by Asos and Boohoo between £3 and £6

Do you need to wear a vest? Could you not pin the front of it slightly higher so you don't need anything under it?

Yes I need a vest - rather gaping front and a pin would be straining to say the least!

Primark do lovely stretch vests in normal or stroppy straps, usuall lots if colours for 2/3 quid, they wash well too and last ages, which is unlike some of their stuff, really good for the price
