My mum died of cancer - she suffered so much. I don't want anyone to go through what she went through.
Signing the 'Saatchi bill' means making medical history - doctors will be able to find new treatments for cancer and other diseases.
Please sign, lets give everyone a fighting chance to SURVIVE, we owe it to all those we love.
THANK YOU!XX

sorry to hear about your dad x
cancer is such a horrible disease - words just can't describe the impact it has on the 'patient' and the whole family.....
my mum was given the 'all clear' after chemo and radiotherapy, BUT in a space of two months the cancer had spread aggressively and was then told that it was terminal.....
We all need to give the doctors a chance to see if 'new' treatments can help.......'thank you' to anyone who signs xxxx0 -

Aww no, how horrid. xx However I have to confess that this kind of story makes me thankful that dad's suffering was short (only 6 weeks from suspected cancer referral until we lost him and the longest 6 weeks of my life). He spent 4 of those weeks in hospital but thankfully they managed to get him into our local community hospital between chemo treatments which was a godsend for everyone's stress levels as I'm the only driver out of 3 kids (2 of us in our 30's 1 still in her 20's). It meant one of us was able to visit him every day if not a couple of times a day and I think he liked the idea of being in his home town and it being less of a challenge for my sisters to get to him.
There are so many technological developments being made which might help cancer sufferers. In my experience (and I'm an administrator in the NHS) half the battle is due to the destruction of their immune systems from chemo and radiotherapy and destruction of healthy cells as well as the bad ones; even overcoming this would make such a huge difference.£12k in 2019 #084 £3000/£3000
