Nissan Servicing

Hi all

My four year old diesel Qashqai is due its third service. Knowing I'll have to sell another kidney if I take it to a main dealer I was hoping to find someone (Greater Belfast ish ) who could do an equally good job without charging the equivalent of the annual GDP of Guatemala.

Any recommendations gratefully received

Hi Stevieboy, Derek Loane's Nissan dealership in Aughnacloy, I can't recommend them highly enough. I would rather make the trip down to Aughnacloy than go to Shelbourne motors in Portadown which is just down the road from me....2 years ago xenon headlight passenger side goes, take it to Shelbourne Motors where they charge me £107 to replace, last year, other one goes and I take it to Derek Loane's where they give me a courtesy car, and replace it free of charge! They will always try to sort out problems under the nissan warranty. Worth every penny of the 64 mile round trip to be treated well and valued as a customer ...service as it should be, I have a 2008 Qashqai and my last service in Feb cost £114, and they replaced an anti-roll bar free of charge as they heard it knocking...hope this helps..

Thanks Toofy. Havent had it done yet, but had an eye opener this morning. I happened to be in Wilsons of Rathkenny and asked how much an M3 service (The one I need) would be. I was told the price would be £287, but they could do a bit of discount....revised quote of £186, free MOT check and free courtesy car - I havent booked it yet, but will - great to see a dealer willing to do a deal

I have a 5 year old Qashqai and use a local garage in Newtownards with no issues whatsoever. They are half the price of Charles Hurst and I can trust them more.
