HI all,
Am starting the long process of making offers to my cc companies and catalouge and i was wondering if there are any offer letter templates out there that I could base my letters on, !!
I`m not being lazy would just like to see what to include. Is is reasonable to ask them to stop interest, and ask them to accept the reduced payment that I offer??

liz - I use national debtline - u can get a self help pack with samples of letters.it is totally reasonable to make an offer of payment and ask them to freeze interest, I successfully negotiated such things on behalf ogf my hubby, some took a littl persuading, don't be put off if they refuse the first time, try again, it also helps to make token payments whilst negotiating as they want to see you are willing to pay the debts.
I would really recommedn having a look at national debtline https://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk
good luck

Yes i've just sent all my letters off, the National Debtline sample letters have helped me a lot. As long as you send your new payments with the letters they shouldn't really refuse. Although i still have to convince one to freeze my interest.0

persever with the interest Kim, one creditor refused and refused and then once they saw that we were keeping up regualr payments they froze the interest. It also helps if another creditor has frozen the interest as we persuaded another to do so after sending copies of letters from other creditors who had frozen it.
It is def worth trying and trying again, at the same time keep paying an amount even if it is 5.00.

Livil, yeah i will keep trying.
As i have offered some of my creditors a lower monthly payments of £10 and £20 per month, i'm still finding it a struggle for the lower payments to make a difference. Can i lower the payments even more or do i have to stick to what i asked? I seem to be living off my overdraft all the time and by Wednesday i'm at my limit which means i have no money left to spend otherwise i'll be charged for going over my limit. I've had to sell a few things on e bay as an emergency..I can't keep doing this..0 -

Have you looked at all your other outgoings to see if they can be cutback?
If you want to post them here, we may be able to make some suggestions for you.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac

Hi Kim03
Just had a look at your outgoings. I also have a dog and made a recent discovery - Tesco do a multibuy of 24 tins of dog food which is less than £8. This would last me a month. I mix this with mixer from a 10kg bag of Winalot wich costs about £8.99 from Pets at Home - this bag lasts me about 2 months. This could make you a few quids saving each month!
Good luck!Gimme back my bank charges!!!!!0 -
I'm feeding my little one on Royal Canin Mini Junior, it's a complete balanced food and she loves it, she doesn't have any tinned dog food as they are processed. Royal Canin have no artificial ingredients in it. Thank you for your suggestion anyway
