Applying for a Mortgage with settled defaults

Hi all first time poster,
I am currently trying to apply for a mortgage with only myself as the holder, although I am married with 3 children. I have a default that was settled in 2011 and one that will be settled in two weeks. I have a current credit score of 897 with Experian.
I applied for a mortgage with Lloyds under the help to buy but the credit check came back bad. After checking my experian report it turns out that the address they had was way out of date so I wasn't appearing on the electoral role and my current address. This is now fixed (hence the higher credit score) so was wondering if it's worth asking lloyds to do another check?
I have also checked my report with Equifax and that is up to date address wise and is only showing one default, the one that will be paid off in two weeks.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
