Stainless steel interior microwave

I'd set my heart on a Whirlpool Max microwave, but knowing it has a painted interior puts me off .The microwave i currently have which was previously my late grandma's, and is a painted one; which has started to peel tthough still works.
I don't have a massive budget; but not bothered by make and no need for a combination,. Would prefer digital but manual is fine. Colourwise, white or cream would be great, even red. Do not want black or silver.
Thanks in advance.

I don't think the interior of a microwave oven can be stainless steel - you can't put metal things in them can you?0

Try and Google microwave with stainless steel interior, there are lot of them out there, including the Panasonic we own.0 -
I have a built in combination microwave oven with a stainless steel interior as I much prefer this kind of interior to a painted one. Mine is a Baumatic, but quite a few manufactures do the SS interior models.
It tends to be the lower priced microwaves that only have a painted interior. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
Well I never knew that! I'll have to look it up on Google.0

I know you definitely can get them as I had a delonghi one in the past, Easitronic or something like that but it stopped working.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £40.03/150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Tried that, but thought someone may have seen a bargàin on their travels. I used to have a Panasonic one years ago too,but can't remember what happened to it.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £40.03/150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Wonder if they do stand alone. Will have a gander ...GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £40.03/150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. One person vegan household with occasional visitors)Forever learning the art of frugality0 -
Hi, the ovens with stainless steel interiors are GENERALLY combination ones that also have an integral oven or grill .
This is because of the extra heat involved which enamel wouldn't be suitable for.
There a few basic microwaves with stainless interiors but you can expect the price to be much higher.
What do you mean by 'wonder if they do stand alone' ?
Best option would be to buy one with an inbuilt oven or grill even if you never use the extra features!0 -

#8 The lady said she had a built in Baumatic, so i was wondering if they were available also as stand alone ... which they do.
Still looking for a reasonably priced micro.
