Empty House Insurance

I've become Executor of an Estate awaiting Probate, and the Estate includes selling the deceased's Home. As this is nearly three hundred miles away, I can't just pop round every few days to check it's OK. The neighbours are keeping an eye on it, and I'm paying someone to come in once a week to hoover and dust. Current Insurer will not cover the now empty House, and the only other available Insurer seems to Towergate.

Anyone got any other suggestion for possible Insurers?

Thanks.

    I'm currently using http://www.insuremyproperty.co.uk/

I came across several options - some sites (can't remember which I'm afraid) were able to run a market comparison and give me quotes from different providers.

Google will show up a fair few.

Towergate are another player in this space.

Whoever you go for, make sure you read the terms properly. Many will have requirements depending on how long its been vacant from draining down the water systems or blocking the letterbox etc.
