New Cheaper Milk Going Off Quicker?
Comments
-
I always buy Cravendale when available and on offer when doing my online shop. I too have found that the 'ordinary' skimmed milk does not keep as well as it used to. Also, like the OP I have wondered about the origins of the special cheaper milk currently available in most of the supermarkets. Given that not long ago they were making us aware they were increasing the price per litre they paid to farmers how can they lower the price so much if it is Milk from this country?0

Any differences in keeping qualities are far more likely to be down to poor, unrefrigerated storage at some point in the supply chain before it reaches the customer than anything else.0
