My store had no signs up at all, so as I had the hand scanner randomly scanned a few items on the sale rack - some jeans priced at £10 scanned at £1 so did a couple of jumpers, pretty much everything though scanned at a lower price than the sale tag said eg Jumper £20 reduced to £11 but scanned at £40

The sale was still on today when I went in, they had loads of adult shoes at £1 each. Lots of sparkly stillettos, fake croc style shoes, baseball boots, etc. Great if you were a size 3 or 8 but not much else.
I got a pair of sparkly stilettos (were £22.50), pair of mens crocs (were £4), 2 pairs of childs school shoes (were £12.50 each), a pair of reindeer booties (were £4)0 -
I was in our Tesco Extra on Wednesday morning around 8:30am. There was hardly anything on the £1 rack (I'm talking a dozen coathangers at most), and the people looking at what was left consisted of 2 customers and at least 6 staff. The lady on the till told me that a customer had been through just before me with two full baskets of random clothing, mix of sizes etc.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Today Lincoln (Wragby Rd) had quite a few childrens items. hat, scarf, glove sets @£1 and some single toddler hats/ mitts @ 50 pence. Probably best buy were a pair of Disney slippers/boots for £1 were £8. Adult stuff was just reduced but not to £1!!
Suspect there wasn't a lot because the new store is due to open soon, or, it's all gone!Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

was in king's lynn, hardwick store tonight & saw clothes reduced to 50% off but not down to £1. So guess I missed it?when life gives you lemons, stick them in your top & pretend you have pointy boobs.

How can they display an item as costing one price when it actually only costs £1? Isn't that false advertising (as the higher price would put people off buying)?0

Just returned from my local store, Hednesford Staffordshire, hats, gloves and scarves either £1 or 50 p, kids, ladies and mens. Other stuff 50% off! though I had a pair of ankle boots for myself reduced from £22 to £5 , bargain.0

This sale started on 22nd march apparently according to HDUK thread
i picked up 2 pairs of womens heels from tesco homeplus in brombrough last weds for £1 each
purple glittery ones that were £15 and black studded patent ones that were £22 both reduced to £1
also got a pair of boot tights, where the foot part is thicker for wearing with boots, £5 down to £1
very pleased, i got £42 of stuff for £3!
they did have a lot of leather boots for women and loads of mens thermal tops and leggings so it may be worth still having a look just to see if any bargains left hanging around0 -
I was in a Tesco Extra last week. The customer in front of me at the checkout was a lady wearing a Tesco fleece. She had a bundle of clothing where the till operator was peeling off stickers. She commented to her colleague something like "Well, for a £1 each, it has to be worth it."
Until I received the MSE e-mail this morning I didn't realise what this was about. Surely, Tesco staff shouldn't be allowed to buy these things? How do we know they hadn't been tipped off that these bargains existed?
Doesn't affect me I should add. I think Tesco clothing looks pretty tatty so I wouldn't buy any but, in principle, it does seem a bit unfair on the regular customers?0 -

When they had the bargain electricals I went through a till where there was a nice looking iPhone dock. I asked if I could buy it, the cashier informed me it was being saved for her as it was only £5 and the last one. Brilliant. They should be able to buy whatever they like once off shift though. If you aim for the moon if you miss at least you will land among the stars!0
