Valuation booked

We went through full application for our mortgage on Saturday and I've just received confirmation that our valuation has been booked. Does this mean it has gone through the underwriters and they have 'ok-ed' it?

    Valuation is part of the underwriting process.

    I spoke to Nat West Mortgage line today, my Valuation is Friday and as long as the Valuation goes ok then I will get an offer issued within 4 working days.

    I asked if the Underwriters were happy with affordability/payments etc and he said yes.

    Still nervous though until that offer is on my hand!

    Who is the lender?

    some instruct the valuation straight away, some instruct it after underwriting.
