CCJ During Bankruptcy

I was made bankrupt in April 2010 and discharged in April 2011.
I own my property and was allowed to keep it during bankruptcy.
I live in Scotland and pay factor fees for the flat however I was in debt to them and thought this would be part of the bankruptcy.
The debt was prior to the bankruptcy and in June 2011 I was given a CCJ.
I contacted them and told them I was bankrupt and provided them my detail however the CCJ was still given and is on my credit file as active.
Is this valid?
Can a CCJ be issued when bankrupt already?
Thanks

I didn't at the time, is there anything I can do about it now?0

The fact that you didn't reply to court papers and defend at the time could make it difficult for you to do anything.
I would give National Debtline a call on freephone 0808 808 4000 to see what they might it might be possible to do.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
