Few questions .....

Good morning everyone - new day, new week,

I have been doing this comping for about 2 weeks now and prob spent only a couple of hours in total doing it - I have won a pane bello pizza voucher and a bakers day letterbox cake - it was so exciting to win something as the old cliche says "I never win anything - well I don't normally" - it's great fun - the only thing is I am stuck on a few things

Raflecopter - this really confuses me?? When the box comes up and you earn entries by liking etc - it ticks it and says done but then that's it - how does it work? There is nothing to click saying you have entered the comp at all - just saying how many enteries you have had

Do you always get told you have won a prize?

I always start at page 1 (latest comps to enter) but should i go further back?

By the way the is a great forum and there are some bloomin brilliant people on here - posting comps and offering great help and tips

Rafflecopter. I don't understand it at all so I don't do them


I have won several prizes in the past year (I began Feb 13) but only one so far has just turned up the rest were notified to me via email when I won


I personally start on page one and make my way back to the time I was last on (so for example I was last on Friday around 4pm) so I go back until I get to this time/day. This is just how I do it others have different ways of doing it.


and for the last comment, yes it is a great forum, very friendly and helpful.

I tend to sort the forum by closing date (earliest first) then I know I have not missed anything closing 'today' - I try to stay a day in front for the ones that close early in the morning, but I often end up behind!!

That's how I do it just_a_girl. I always like to try and be a few days ahead too, but usually struggle at times, - off work this week so will attempt to catch up on missed comps over last few days

There's a very good post HERE which helps with Rafflecopter, which looks more complicated than it actually is.

As for whether you're told you've won, it depends. Many will email/text/send a letter, but often prizes just turn up. I once received a 32" TV and DVD player and I still have no idea which comp I won them from!

With how to comp, you just need to find a way that suits you. Everyone has different preferences. If you haven't already, take a look at the Comping Guide HERE - it's well worth a read and good to refer back to.
