Can you take a credior OFF a DMP??

We are about 30mths into a DMP with SC..
Most of our debts are loans and cards ranging from 7-15k each, but we had a few store cards that were low, and we added everything in..
Next account was only about £450, but they froze charges and when that got down recently to around £50, I paid it off...
Next lowest is Argos card.
The balance was low to start also, only about £600, but due to the pro rata was of splitting our money and the fact its so low compared to other 10-15k debts, SC only pay Argos £8pm, but the problem is that they continue to add on £6pm interest and charges, so it only actually goes down by £2pm in real terms!!
In the last 30months its only gone down by around £60 total, whereas some of our larger debts go down by £70-£90 A MONTH..
I have phoned and written to Argos so many times I have lost count, but they will not stop the charges and interest..
At this rate in 8yrs when we finish our DMP and have paid £45k to the others, we will STILL OWE Argos, due to the balance only dropping £2pm due to all the charges..
So on the statement every month, they only want around £20pm to get the account back in line and stop the charges and we can manage that and it will come down a lot quicker and be gone within a year or two..
I would rather drop them from the DMP and just pay them direct every month...
But am I able to do this without upsetting the others??

Have you actually complained to Argos? You said you have written to them but it isn't clear if you have actually used their complaint procedure. If you have exhausted their complaints procedure then you can complain to the financial ombudsman. I'd complain that they are failing to treat you fairly and their actions are actually keeping you in debt longer.
In answer to your original question, obviously it's possible. I'm not too sure how your dmp provider will react though and obviously if you start paying one more then they might put the minimum up and say you need to pay more and more. Also your other creditors might get upset as well (if they find out). If you do decide to take one creditor off your dmp be aware that SC may pull your dmp so you may have to self manage (or find another free company).
