Father as Guarantor

I'm currently going through the process of buying a house. I've also been offered a new job in a new trade on more money. I was trying to put of accepting and starting the new job until after completion however it seems this might not be possible and I really can't afford to loose this job. I understand that it will be a change of material circumstances and the bank (nationwide) may well pull the mortgage offer. However if I put my Father forward as a guarantor does anyone know if they might consider this?
Many thanks in advance

They might.
But there's only one way to find out for sure.0 -
Agreed, just testing the waters. Forgot to mention, we have put a 20% deposit down, I'm hoping this will help.0
