blimey, I shocked myself today

Had a bit of a lightbulb moment earlier. Three years ago or so I started buying from Studio, mainly christmas time. I've always paid minimum payments knowing that there is a service charge each month but it's easier. Now I admit to missing a few payments at the beginning but the last two years ive made regular up to date paymrnts.
Well for some reason today (probably because hubby was in bed after a night shift so I needed to keep quiet) I sat down and worked out how much id had off them in goods and how much I'd paid back. Now for the shock....ive actually paid thrm back plus £9 extra.......and I still owe the amount of........dum dum dum.......£523!!! This is all made up from their service charges each month and the default payments at the start. BIG GULP.
I've decided to plough a couple of big payments into this over the next couple of months to clear it. Wish me luck? Please....I'm gonna need it.

Good luck Poppett, if you can clear it then that would be a very good thing! Well done you for thinking about it, too often the little things can slip our minds and land us in hot water! Just goes to show, your mind is a clever thing that can often remind you of things you might normally dismiss! Best to trust your instincts and check it out, otherwise you could fall foul of a boo-boo like this!Original Total: £34200.78 / Current Total: £24017.00 (July 2017) -29.88%!

It's easy to think because you're paying regular payments you're doing well with the account....just goes to show. Hubby has never really liked me having catalogue accounts and now I see why. Thanks Meatloaf for your words of encouragement. Now my mind is made up I'm more determined than ever to clear this.£2 savers club. No.90. Aim £500.0

 Shocking isn't it. A few frugal months might be in order. Hope you get shot of it soon. Have you got anything you could sell to give yourself a boost and get you going? Maybe an ebay session or a car boot?
Best of Luck

It's scary how fast things can add up!
I always remember Mom with her Next account... if I order anything for Next I pay for it outright just to be on the safe side.0
