The promoter of this free prize draw is Winterthur Financial Services UK Limited (Company No: 00823355, with registered offices at 5 Old Broad Street, London, EC2N 1AD) (the “Promoter”). The Promoter is the service company to AXA Self Investor, a trading name of AXA Portfolio Services Limited, all of which are part of the AXA Group.
“AXA Group” means AXA UK Plc and its subsidiary companies, any holding company of AXA UK Plc and any subsidiary companies of such holding company, as such terms are defined in section 1159 of the Companies Act 2006.
1.To enter this free prize draw, you must visit www.axaselfinvestor.co.uk/prizedraw and complete the online entry form including your full name and email address before clicking ‘Submit and download guide’ in order to download the Citywire Guide to Savings and Investments. No purchase is necessary.
2.By entering this free prize draw, you agree to these terms and conditions.
3.This free prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 and over, excluding employees of any companies within the AXA Group of companies or their associates, affiliated or subsidiary companies, and their families, agents, appointed representatives or anyone connected with or involved in the administration of this free prize draw.
4.All entrants must be an individual over 18 years of age and a resident of the UK. Proof of age will be required.
5.Entry is limited to one entry per person.
6.The commencement time and date for entry into this free prize draw is 4pm on 7th February 2014. The closing time and date for entry is midday on 5th April 2014 (the “Close Date”). On submission of the entry form described in paragraph 1 above, the entrant will automatically be entered into the free prize draw and provided with a download of the Citywire Guide to Saving and Investments. Entries received after the Close Date will not be eligible for entry into the free prize draw.
7.There will be one prize comprising of £11,880 (“the Prize”) which will be paid by an electronic bank transfer to the winner by AXA Self Investor.
8.All entries received on or before the Close Date will be entered into the free prize draw and allocated a number in accordance with their order of entry. An independent party (without knowledge of the manner in which the numbers have been allocated) will be asked to choose the winner by selecting a number at random between one and the total number of entrants received at the Close Date. The winner will be drawn within 2 weeks of the Close Date (the “Draw Date”).
9.The winner will be notified by email (“the Notification Email”) within 30 days of the Draw Date and will be required to contact AXA Self Investor on the email address or on the telephone number provided in the Notification Email before the Prize can be released.
10.The Promoter will make repeated attempts to contact the winner. However, in the event that the original winner cannot be contacted within 30 days of the Draw Date or does not provide the details requested in the Notification Email within 30 days of the Promoter sending the first email to the winner requesting this, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw at its absolute discretion the Prize entitlement of that original winner and award the Prize to a second name drawn at random by the independent party (or subsequent names drawn if required).
11.The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or any part of it) for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons outside its reasonable control. The Prize is not transferable.
12.Details of the name and county of the winner can be obtained by writing to AXA Self Investor, Prize Draw Winner, PO Box 6890, Basingstoke, RG24 4SL and including a stamped address envelope.
13.The Promoter will announce the winner on the AXA Self Investor website. If you do not wish for your name to be displayed in this way, please email us at [EMAIL="info@axaselfinvestor.co.uk"]info@axaselfinvestor.co.uk[/EMAIL].
14.The Promoter’s decision shall be final and legally binding on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these terms and conditions will be invalid and disqualified.
15.By entering the free prize draw, you agree that the Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever suffered or sustained in connection with this free prize draw (including but not limited to direct, indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, income or goodwill), the use of any Prize or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the Promoter or its affiliates, save for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including fraud or for death or personal injury caused by the Promoter's or its affiliates’ negligence).
16.The Prize will be as advertised and the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend this free prize draw at any time without notice.
17.If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
18.These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

19.Winterthur Financial Services UK Limited, part of the AXA UK Group takes your privacy very seriously. Winterthur Financial Services UK Limited will use the personal information that you provide to enter you into the free prize draw and to notify you if you win.
20.By submitting your entry to the free prize draw and leaving ticked the request box presented at the point of entry, you also confirm your consent to the use of your personal information for marketing purposes. If you would prefer that we do not do this please un-tick this box before submitting your entry. You may change your mind at any time by selecting ‘Unsubscribe’ or by telephoning us free on 0808 1685163.
21.To assist us in processing your information we may use other companies in the AXA Group, or companies who work under contract to us. Should really be £15,000 as that is what the 2014/2015 ISA allowance will be come June 1st 2014
