Few weeks left on bankruptcy

I have a few weeks to go till my year is up.
Thanks to the members of this board for all the information contained. Even though I didn't officially ask any questions, I always seemed to find the majority of my questions were asked by someone else in the same boat as me.
The process itself seemed to go smoothly. The OR rang 2 days later and i had a quick 5 minute conversation where they said they'd send a few disclosure letters to sign. They said I could keep my car and they'd be in touch again but I haven't heard anything. Which is a bit concerning tbh! Although I won't complain as I don't want to rock the boat.
I gave up my house in BR and I got a copy of a letter they sent to my mortgage providers saying I had no interest in the property. It was repossessed a few months ago. and i see its for sale and has had an offer.
1. Once the property is sold should i expect anything else to happen? letters about the shortfall etc (even though it shouldn't matter what the shortfall is)
2. Cahoot randomly sent me a new debit card in the past month. Shouldn't they know as they are one of my creditors?
3. I get letters from Santander and both my current account and my credit card show funds. Previously both were overdrawn and included in the BR
4. A few of my creditors/banks have passed my debts on to some debt recovery companies. Am i obliged to have any dealings with them? I told some i went bankrupt and gave them the BR number. I got a letter from one yesterday saying they couldn't locate any information and i need to send them more info.
5 Having had an NT tax code i haven't heard anything from anyone about anything to do with this? Is this normal?
6. Can i sell my car once i get discharged?
7. Living in NI we pay rates on property. I included 2012/2013 in my BR but i got a bill for the 2013/2014 year. Am I liable for these rates?
Thank you!

I gave up my house in BR and I got a copy of a letter they sent to my mortgage providers saying I had no interest in the property. It was repossessed a few months ago. and i see its for sale and has had an offer.
1. Once the property is sold should i expect anything else to happen? letters about the shortfall etc (even though it shouldn't matter what the shortfall is) Even if you do - you don't owe anything - any shortfall will fall into the BR. there are plenty of posts on here from people saying the mortgage companies try every trick in the book to get you to accept responsibility for it - bin any letters but DO NOT sign anything to do with the shortfall
2. Cahoot randomly sent me a new debit card in the past month. Shouldn't they know as they are one of my creditors? Cut it up and bin it - its probably an 'admin error'
3. I get letters from Santander and both my current account and my credit card show funds. Previously both were overdrawn and included in the BR current account - did you have any money taken by them towards your debts AFTER the BR date? if so, they may have paid it back into the account as they are not allowed to keep it if it was paid after the BR date.
4. A few of my creditors/banks have passed my debts on to some debt recovery companies. Am i obliged to have any dealings with them? I told some i went bankrupt and gave them the BR number. I got a letter from one yesterday saying they couldn't locate any information and i need to send them more info. You don't have to even speak to them- if they get to be a hassle - direct them to the OR. If they want details they can look you up on the BR register in the London Gazette themselves. ALL provable debts fall into a BR regardless of whether the creditor is named on the petition.
5 Having had an NT tax code i haven't heard anything from anyone about anything to do with this? Is this normal? If you went BR just before the end of the financial year, there was no time for them to put the NT in place - they can only do it for the financial year in which the BR happened so if you went BR in March 2013 - they didn't have time to do it so yes, this would be normal.
6. Can i sell my car once i get discharged? Yes - if you have an IPA then you would be best speaking to the OR if the value of the car is more than the £1000 allowance to buy a vehicle.
7. Living in NI we pay rates on property. I included 2012/2013 in my BR but i got a bill for the 2013/2014 year. Am I liable for these rates? Yes
Thank you!
I didn't spot the NI bit until the end - but I think all the responses apply there too.

1. Thanks
2. Thanks
3. No the account was overdrawn by a few hundred when the BR happened and was no longer being used. Now it has a surplus. (Not that it matters anyway as i don't use the account)
4. Thanks
5. My BR date was April so i did get the NT tax code for the year.
6. No IPA. (well except for the NT tax code IPA i assumed i would get?)
7. If i had already moved out and the house was empty would this matter? Could it be included in the BR?
Thanks for the replies so far0 -
The OR should be in touch to ask for a cheque for the tax that you've received. It too some months for my IP to ask for mine. I didn't actually have one in place due to the timing of my bankruptcy/end of financial year.AD March 2014

Yeah i tried to time it for the end of the financial year but due to a backlog it didn't happen.
i assumed I'd have heard something by now just. Is there a timeframe to do this or can they simply ask at any stage even after AD?0 -
As far as I'm aware the money will definitely be requested at some stage, so it may be best to contact them and ask what to do with it now.
Mine wasn't mentioned or requested until 9 months in.AD March 2014

thanks for the response. I think Il pass on contacting them though. Im hoping things just stay as quiet as they have done for the next month until AD. I don't really want to draw attention to myself. Lol0

Hah! don't blame you - I lived in fear of contacting them towards the end of the first year in case they suddenly remembered something
