hi there
Ive seen a job going. It pays 32k, pro rata for 21 hours.
The full time hours are 35.
Could anyone help me work out how much the job would come out with on 21hours, my head isnt working

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Hiya! Think it'll be £19200. 21 hrs is 60% of 35hrs, £19200 is 60% of £32,000. Although if anyone else wants to prove me wrong.... no one every said I had to count for this job!!!0

SS it means the job pays 32k for full time hours (thats 35 the op said) but it is a position that only requires 21hrs so is therefore paid pro rata of the full time wage i.e as has been posted she would work 21hrs or 60% of the hours the same full time worker would work so would therefore receive 60 % of the full time wage.
Either I have cleared things up or made it a whole lot more confusing.
To the OP £19,200 for 21 hrs seems very good what is it doing I think I may fancy a career change.:D:j:love: Getting married to the man of my dreams 5th November 2011:j

Just to confirm £19,200 is correct and in future the easiest way to calculate Prorata'd salaries is simply:
Take the Salary amount shown £32,000
Divide it by full time hours 35
Then multiply by actual part time hours 21
= Pro rata'd salary £19,200
Ta da! All my training wasn't for nothing, I can still do it!0
