As expected, last week's plan went completely out the window! I didn't buy anything extra so can't complain really. As usual, there's rather more month left than money, so careful planning is needed this week.

S - Steak with new potatoes, leeks and mushroom sauce
M - BBQ ribs with veg fried rice
T - [STRIKE]Spaghetti carbonara[/STRIKE] Tuna and sweetcorn wraps with rocket, veg soup
W - [STRIKE]Bacon and mushroom risotto with rocket salad[/STRIKE] Mushroom, leek and sweetcorn risotto
T - Burritos with rocket, corn and refried beans
    F - Burritos
S - Burritos (again! DH's favourite so he'll happily eat them every day)

Breakfasts will be toast or cereal, lunches will be beans on toast or soup and part bake multiseed rolls.
I've got everything in that I need for main meals, I'll just need to pick up some bread and milk :)

Doh, I've just had a look in the freezer and the bacon I thought was lurking isn't there! So will have to rethink Tues and Wed. We'll probably go swimming on Tuesday eve, so I'll just do some tuna and sweetcorn wraps and soup, and Wed I'll do a veggie risotto.

Pay week for us and we have done a large stock up shop. We were out of everything almost

This means we have what seems loads in but it needs to be stretched out for 4 weeks

This weeks plan goes like this.
S- Chicken curry with spring rolls, samosas and turmeric rice and prawn crackers
M- LO chicken with stirfry in wraps
    T- Pizza and garlic bread
W- Spicy chorizo mince with spaghetti or jackets
T- Chicken kiev, chips and salad
F- Fish finger, chips and peas
S- HM burgers with garlic mushrooms and beans

Breakfasts will be muesli, porridge, weetabix or HM yoghurt with dried apricots.
Lunches will be chicken soup for 2 days, quiche 1 day, crackers with cream cheese and cold meats 1 day, sandwiches and wraps with left overs or egg mayo the remaining 3 days.
Snacks will be hm fairy cakes, flapjacks and fruit. There is also crisps and some of the Li dl 17p chocolate.

I'm glad your OH got home safely JG :j

:rotfl: I used to do that all the time, now I keep a rolling freezer list by shelf. It really helps with the planning :)
