Hi
Still on countdown to AD but trying to plan ahead...I went on the electoral roll when I moved last year but my Noddle report still isn't showing it. I've checked with the Council and they confirm I am on it but Noddle say I have to send them 'evidence' that I am on the roll but don't say what that 'evidence' should be - any ideas?

Also - there is a financial association with my ex that was last confirmed in 2005 (6 months after we split up) I don't owe him any favours but how would I get that link 'broken'

Hi, I'm sorry I don't know about your first question, maybe a copy of your council tax bill?

I had an association with my husband from a joint bank account I took myself off a few months before my bankruptcy. I sent a message to noddle through their contact us section and they severed the association within 30 days.

Did you check the equifax free £2 statutory report that was posted on here the other day? I realised the association was still there on equifax :( I was very impressed with the equifax service, within 3 days I have had both things I queried put right and both times they generated a new free report so I could check it! Maybe if you can get equifax to update your electoral role information it might filter through to the other agencies?

The Electoral Roll section of my credit file contains inaccurate information. How do I correct it?

The Electoral Roll section of your credit file should be a reflection of the information held by your local authority. Firstly, you must ensure that your local authority is holding accurate and up to date information. If the information they are holding is correct but your Callcredit file is not, we require evidence from your local authority to allow us to amend our records. Please arrange to supply us with a letter from your local authority, to allow us to make the necessary changes. If the information held by your local authority is not correct, please arrange for them to make the necessary changes to their register. Once this has been completed they will inform us and we will make the required changes.

Thanks fermi - I didn't see that. I called the council last week and they said I was definitely on the register and I used the free standard report offer at exquifax (thanks HMOOTM :D) this morning and I'm not on the ER there either - so I'll get a letter from the council.

    Hi
It seems the council don't update the register quite as often as I thought and they only published my changes in February so I guess I'll have to wait a month or two for the CRA's to process the information. The other reason to wait a while is that the council charge £15 to provide a letter confirming you are on the register

I've had the same issue with noddle having been on the electoral roll around 2 years at my current address... I rang the council who gave me reference numbers to provide to noddle starting BL.... individual to both me and OH, and was thinking of sending through our latest council tax bill too - would be interested to see if you get this resolved!
