Can anyone explain what "Date Satisfied" should show on my credit file
I went bankrupt on 16th October 2012 and discharged 16th October 2013. No if I am correct "Date Satisfied" should show no later than 16th October 2013 and if any credit companies have tis date wrong (after 16/10/13) they need to amend it as required?
Am I right?

That is correct.
Saying that, it's not super critical to have the date on that exactly right.
It's the default date NOT the satisfaction date that it drops off your file 6 years after, so out of the 2 THAT one is the important one to have right.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

....so should the default date be the date of BR rather than the date of discharge?
