i'm in scotland and i sent my stage 4 letter (threaten to take it to court) just over a fortnight ago, i am claiming £1200 including interest.

Can anyone give me any advice as to how to proceed now as i know that the situation here differs to that in England and Wales. (i have had no reply from lloyds tsb btw)

Fill in your court papers for the amount you are claiming its called a summery court claim not a small cliams court and it costs £69.00 and take them to your local sheriff court. Or fill in forms to the finacial ombudsman,

The ombudsman is a free service and the bank gets charged £400 for every complaint regardless of the outcome

So what? They make us angry too. A court claim costs them money too. If they wanted to avoid that, they could always pay out earlier!

Btw, I suggest you check the Reclaiming in Scotland thread out for more info:

Who cares it makes us angry when the high jack our bank account with unlawfull charges. This might make the banks think before they apply the vast amount of charges they apply to people. They cant answer the ombudsman where they get the figures to apply these charges nor can they prove that they lost money because of these innocent people occuring unfair charges. So its time to hit the bank back with getting them hit by £400 in charges for every complaint made then they might find out who it feels to be skint a day after pay day LOL :rotfl: :EasterBun
