loans direct now bos?

hi, my partner has a loan with lloydstsb(at the time) it always showed up on statement as loansdirect, but today it shows up as bank of Scotland, have they sold off? anyone advise, he is at work at the min so unable to contact bank

if it has changed hands etc, I don't know why it waould now show up as bank of scotland

Lloyds and BoS are both part of Lloyds Banking Group.

There's been a glitch that affect all loans within LBG. Lloyds loans, which should show as Loans Direct, are showing as Bank of Scotland; anyone with a Bank of Scotland loan will see "Halifax" on their statement, anyone with a Halifax loan will see it on their statement as "Loans Direct."

The loans themselves haven't been affected - it's still the same loan and you're not going to miss a payment. It's a technical glitch with the direct debits that's been fixed but anyone with a direct debit due out between March 21st-24th will "suffer" from the issue.
