Wonga Help
Hi guys, I got a loan from wonga for £50 and was meant to pay it back on the 8th of this month. On the 7th I was going to pay my loan back early but there website wouldn't accept my new bank card so I missed the payment and now am in arrears tried sending them messages but not getting a reply back and today a signed up for there repayment plan done all that and was going to make a first payment today but there website wouldn't accept my card again.
Am I in the wrong here? because I would of paid my loan early and in full if there website would accept my new card. but now 2 weeks in and still not accepting my bank card.
Any help would be great thanks!

did you phone them on the 7th when there was first a problem with the payment?0

How did you miss the payment date? I'm pretty sure if you'd telephoned them they would have taken the payment over the phone, if they wouldn't they would at least fix the online problem. Sounds to me like you are one of those people who rely too heavily on doing stuff on line, by txt or email when quite often the good old phone call to a real person is all it takes to solve the problem.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0

Sorry the other posts went up whilst I was typing my reply. Anyways, you had no access to any phone? Friends, Parents, work? I think if it were me I'd be looking at asking someone if I could use their phone.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -

Your in the wrong because you didnt make more of an effort to repay what you owe. Phone up and pay.0 -
My family have fallen out with me for some stupid reason, haven't seen my mum in over 4 years and my sister lives over in spain and I only have one friend I'm a really shy person, person to person talking isn't my strong point hence why I have one friend ahainterstellaflyer wrote: »Sorry the other posts went up whilst I was typing my reply. So no work mates then ?
Could your sister not have sent you the £50 ?0 -
Your new card is not relevant. They would have used the old card number to take the payment automatically.
The only way for this to fail is if you had taken the loan and immediately closed your bank account and moved elsewhere to à different bank
None of your post makes much sense. You appear to live in the middle of a field, no job, no family, no friends, it all seems a bit odd.
They will accept a new card number over the phone so there is no reason this cannot be paid, including all the additional fees for whatever nonsense you were playing at with the bank accounts0
